What does FR mean?

FR or Frame Ready means the overall size for the mount will fit into a standard size frame that you can easily buy.

Let’s take 7x5 for example,
7x5 standard has an overall size of 9x7 inches . Cannot buy a frame that size.

7x5 FR (Frame ready) has an overall size of 10x8 inches which you can easily buy a frame for.
